Season 1
The season follows the adventures of Claire, a married war nurse who accidentally finds herself thrust into the Scottish countryside of 1743. She is then forced to marry Jamie, a passionate young Scottish warrior who falls in love with her and leads her to be torn between fidelity and desire, being torn between two dramatically opposed men and two irreconcilable lives.
